There are people who enter our lives and, through their consistency, remind us that we do not have

to navigate every season alone.

Charles "Chuck" W. has been that constant person for LaWanda.

​

Throughout this journey, Charles has been a true and steadfast friend—someone who has kept LaWanda grounded during moments when her thoughts were heavy, her confidence was uncertain,

and she simply believed she was alone.

​

Through the daily conversations and countless late-night talks, Charles has listened to LaWanda process life, relationships, disappointment, decisions, dreams, successes, failures, fears, and the many ideas

that eventually began taking shape before her.

​

Charles allowed her to talk things through when she needed clarity, encouraged LaWanda when she became discouraged, and reminded her of who she was during moments when she had difficulty seeing it for herself.

And then there are the words LaWanda heard so many times:

​

Charles's support throughout this journey has extended far beyond words. He has supported LaWanda,

giving generously of himself in ways that has allowed her to keep moving forward when the weight

of everything she was carrying could have easily caused her to stop.

​

As LaWorthy™ began moving from an idea into something tangible—a philosophy, a framework, a community, educational Experiences, and ultimately this place you are visiting now—Charles witnessed the work

behind what others will eventually see.

​

Charles has heard the excitement when an idea finally came together.

Heard the frustration when something didn't. Heard the doubt and dreams.

And through all of it, Charles stayed.

​

There is something deeply meaningful about having someone in your life who does not simply

applaud the finished product but is present during the becoming.

But long before LaWanda could explain everything she was building, friendship was giving her real-life

LaWanda is most grateful for Charles's generosity. For believing in her ideas, encouraging her dreams,

supporting her through difficult seasons and reminding her that she is capable even when she questioned herself.
