LaWanda also served as a Paralegal Specialist with the United States Army Office of the Staff Judge Advocate Legal Assistance Office and Trial Defense Services, supporting legal services in a structured, demanding environment. Her federal service also includes executive administrative and human resources support for the United States Air Force. Through these roles, she has witnessed the importance of character, sound decision-making, effective communication, personal responsibility, and trust in both professional environments and everyday life.

LaWorthy™ was shaped not only by LaWanda’s professional experience but also by her personal journey. Through these experiences, she came to understand how challenging it can be for individuals to honestly acknowledge their choices and actions without becoming defensive, shifting blame, or focusing solely on others' actions. These experiences prompted LaWanda to ask a more personal and transformative question: “What belongs to me?”

That question became an invitation to look inward, discern what truly belongs to us, take ownership of our choices and responses, examine our actions and boundaries, and consider whether our direction aligns with the person we want to become.  For LaWanda, living LaWorthy™  is a continual commitment to self-reflection and accountability. It means owning her choices, learning from experience, strengthening her character, and intentionally becoming the person she aspires to be.

As a mother of five, community member, entrepreneur, and woman of faith, LaWanda brings her personal experiences, professional background, commitment to service, and dedication to growth to this work. She approaches LaWorthy™ not as someone who has mastered life, but as someone who continually learns, reflects, and grows.

LaWorthy™ is not a declaration of perfection. It is a personal aspiration, a daily commitment, and an intentional way of living, built one choice and one act of accountability at a time.
